One of the great things about this site is that they have a recipe calculator so you can put in any recipe you are making and see the nutritional content per serving. They also have tons of recipes submitted by other users. This is where I came across today's recipe. It had 3 ingredients and didn't need baking, just a food processor. I made the balls in about 4 minutes. They are super easy, completely delicious, very healthy, and best of all....tweekable. Just use what ever you have on hand.

Fruit & Nut Balls
1 cup almonds
1 cup raisins
1 tsp. cinnamon
Rinse the almonds and raisins then place in a food processor. (Note* don't skip rinsing them!) Add the cinnamon then turn it on and let it go. Once everything is combined and starts to stick together form the mixture into balls. You could also make them into bars if you'd like.
This makes about 14 balls.

Variations:
You can use 1 cup of what ever nut you'd like and 1 cup of any dried fruit/s.
For my first batch I didn't have raisins on hand so I used 1/3c. each of dried blueberries, dried craisins-pomegranate flavored, and dates.
Some other things I want to try in these balls are: toasted oats, chocolate chips, coconut, and peanut butter. Just remember that depending on what you add to the balls the nutrition information will change.
